Major New Global Partners

Major New Marketing Strategy

In my newly appointed role as in-house Online Marketing expert, I’ll be using all of my previous experience of working in roles such as Online Marketing Manger at InterCasino, Jackpotjoy and Aardman Animations, in developing a major new marketing strategy for World Dating Partners, which I plan to launch by the end of the year. I can’t give too much away at this stage, but what I can tell you is that our new strategy will create significant improvements in the overall functionality, usability and marketing of our partner sites. Watch this space!!

Continued Growth

New member numbers have tripled since the beginning of the year as a result of our ever increasing partner network and our recent recruitment of 3 new sales managers. We expect this figure to grow even further as we embark on a major hiring campaign to find 22 new members of staff to support our continued growth.

New Alliance with Relationship Exchange boosts members to 21 million

January 30th, 2008

A new agreement signed in December between two leading companies in the online dating industry has created one of the largest dating databases in the world.

Comprising over twenty one million members, the new database is larger than the entire population of Australia and has been created between Relationship Exchange and World Dating Partners.

Under the terms of the agreement, Relationship Exchange, owned by Think Partnership, will move all its partner websites onto World Dating Partners’ technology platform. It will also merge its database of over fourteen million members into World Dating Partners. The joint database will now top twenty one million members and will be available in eleven countries.

World Dating Partners has made a multi-million dollar investment in its IT over several years, which now comprises over thirty servers running Oracle RAC software, an enterprise-class IT system more commonly found in major corporations.

Freed from the constraints of managing its ‘back-office’, Relationship Exchange now plans to accelerate its growth and, according to its President, Brady Whittingham, expects to grow exponentially in the next few years.

He said, “We’ll focus our attention on helping our affiliates grow their businesses, safe in the knowledge that we’ve, together with World Dating Partners, created one of the largest dating databases of its kind in the world, containing the world’s most sophisticated compatibility matching system.”

Robert Fathers said, “This agreement signals our intent to continue expanding our business. We believe we’re firmly established as the number one dating service provider but intend to continue to broaden and deepen our service portfolio. We will be making a number of announcements in the next twelve months that will bear this out.”

You are now able to make any on the fly changes, no more waiting for moderation on HTML or content changes. We still keep a history of changes so it is possible to roll back, and the security is as safe as it was previously as all changes are still checked after they appear on your site.

HTML Template Editor

Greater flexibility from pre-designed templates. Don’t be restricted by the templates we have created. Log in, rip them apart and create your own HTML front page design or just tweak them a little to your requirements.

Gay Portal

We are very proud to announce that we have the launched the world’s first dedicated white label gay dating portal.
Following huge demand we followed the advice from our partners and customers to create a new portal exclusively for gay, lesbian and bi members. This gives us a unique White Label solution for the gay community without being tied to mainstream dating portal, where the user experience and expectations are very different.

Get the basics right for huge traffic.

Before you can start thinking about getting lots of traffic to your site, you need to make sure you have the basics taken care of.
Step one of this is editing your meta-tags. These are the title, description and keywords to your site which will help make it unique, and which should be targeted at the audience you are trying to reach.

This has been added to the site set up wizard to help you do this on new sites, but you should also make sure you have unique information in any of your existing sites.

In admin from left hand grey menu follow: My Sites -> manage -> Meta-Tag Editor -> Page to edit

What should I put in my meta-tags? This can sometimes end up being a complicated so to begin with – KEEP IT SIMPLE! Think about WHO your site is targeted at, what makes your site UNIQUE.
Keywords are typically the words and phrases people would search on to find your site/page. Titles and Descriptions should tell visitors what your site and specifically this page is about (if possible using some of your keywords).

Note about Domain Settings

Over the last couple of months we’ve had to update our procedures for putting sites live. For most partners we process payments under our merchant account, in order to process payments the domain ownership should be set to our company name and address

Welcome to the April newsletter

The spring is here - lambs bleating in the fields, bunnies bouncing and tulips sprouting up all over the place. If this in itself wasn’t enough to keep you happy, we have plenty of new announcements which should!

Prizes to top Affiliates

Every month we are going to be giving bonuses to our top affiliates.

For the month of April the partner who brings in the most UK members will get a 10% bonus on new sales. We will announce winner next month once we have verified all new members. Get promoting today because based on previous months its going to be a close run thing.

Video Chat

Video and audio chat will be going live in the next few days. Promote this to your members, its a feature very few sites have, only gold members can use it so will be a great way of getting more subscribers. Cam to cam anyone!?

Better registration pages are also being created, to further optimise sign ups across the whole system.

We have also made some changes to the XML sitemap generation. These have been restructured in a more optimised manner to help with Search Egines.

We have started to use our forum again and have made it a more useful place for both advanced and newer partners to get their hands on the latest updates related to World Dating Partners and our industry.
